Caula Barrs McMarion, a native of Austin, Texas, resides as the proud proprietor of Forever Evolving Faith, LLC, where she spearheads a business deeply rooted in spiritual growth. Additionally, she graces the airwaves as the esteemed host of the inspirational podcast, "In Ryan's Room." Her unwavering faith in Christ propels her on an enduring spiritual journey—one that embraces evolution and is characterized by an unyielding trust in God's grace.
Born and raised in the heart of east Austin, Caula is the devoted mother of two sons, Reginald and Ryan. She considers herself a divine messenger and servant of God, wholly dedicated to the Lord's work. Caula's servant's heart compels her to live out her life's purpose according to the divine vision bestowed upon her.
Her Christ-centered approach to life, encapsulated in Colossians 1:17-18, acknowledges the supreme authority of Jesus Christ: "He is before all things, and in Him, all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything, He might have the supremacy."
As a cherished member of the Kingdom of God Christian Center (KGCC) in Round Rock, Texas, Caula finds solace under the pastoral guidance of Pastor Fred and Michelle Moore. Within the church community, she actively serves as a minister for the children's church and passionately engages with the "In The Middle" teen ministry.
Caula Barrs McMarion's life is an embodiment of her unyielding commitment to her faith, a testimony to her unbreakable connection with God, and a reflection of her unwavering dedication to serving others.
Caula received her calling to preach God's word on September 22, 1998. Despite initially hesitating and keeping her distance, she eventually surrendered to God's authority and accepted the call. Romans 11:29 reminds us that "the gifts and calling of God are without repentance." This means that once God has called you, His calling remains steadfast, regardless of your obedience. Likewise, if God has gifted you along a certain path, that gift remains within you.
On Saturday, October 15, 2022, God infused Caula with a profound vision for the "In Ryan's Room" podcast. She recognized the significance of this vision, realizing that it surpassed her own capabilities and was driven by divine purpose. Embracing God's blueprint, Caula courageously brought the vision to fruition, giving birth to the impactful "In Ryan's Room" podcast.
Who is Ryan McMarion?
Ryan, my second-born son, bravely faced the challenge of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) when he was just seven years old. DMD, a rare, X-linked, degenerative neuromuscular disorder, presented formidable obstacles in his path. At the age of 12, Ryan found himself confined to a wheelchair, but he refused to let his disability define him. Instead, he embraced life with unwavering determination.
Ryan possessed a heart of gold, radiating strength akin to Samson. His faith in God remained unshakeable, providing a solid foundation for his journey. He consistently placed others before himself, demonstrating a remarkable capacity for love, kindness, and compassion. Throughout the day, he made sure to express his profound love for me, often proclaiming it from the rooftops. Even while I was at work, he would call to inquire about dinner plans, enthusiastically sharing his own preferences.
Every evening, upon my return, Ryan greeted me with a cheerful, "Hey Mom! How was your day?" He cherished our family and the joyous occasions we shared, enthusiastically participating in karaoke sessions, rapping alongside his cousins. Ryan possessed a smile that could illuminate even the darkest room. Whether he was engrossed in playing his Xbox or listening to an eclectic mix of gospel and rap music, he reveled in life's simple pleasures.
Ryan exemplified remarkable manners, treating his elders and those in authority with the utmost respect, always responding with a polite "yes ma'am" or "yes sir." Never once did he complain about the challenges he faced. His spirit remained undeterred, allowing him to savor life to the fullest. A devoted fan of the New Orleans Saints, Miami Heat, WWE, and the Texas Longhorns, he passionately supported his favorite teams.
It has been five years since Ryan departed from this world to join the Lord. Through his indomitable spirit, unwavering perseverance, and incredible strength, my faith in God grew exponentially. Ryan's life serves as a profound inspiration, a testament to the boundless resilience of the human spirit.
